“While we will miss him more than words can express, it is with much celebration that I share the news that my father has gone Home. Welcomed by a host of angels and congratulated for a race run well. He’s holding the door for three sons, ten grandkids, and eleven great grandkids.”

“Yesterday we lost my grandpa. He was a sweet man, tell it like it is, and had a strong faith. Up until his final days, he was preaching. He would pray for anyone that walked in the room, whether it be a family member or one of the medical staff. One of the days I was up at the hospital, the chaplain was about to come in and meet him for the first time as I was about to leave. I told him he had met his match and I hope he had allotted enough time with grandpa bc he was a man of strong faith. He is in peace now, no more pain and suffering.”

If you had the privilege of knowing my grandfather you should count yourself blessed. He had a heart for the Lord and a love for his family that was unmatched. There is no doubt he is rejoicing in heaven…It’s not goodbye but see you later.

We lost my sweet Grandpa Moreland yesterday. One of the most amazing men I ever knew. I’m so thankful for the time I got to be with him. While we all miss him here, I know he’s rejoicing getting to finally be with his Savior. Up until his last moments he was singing hymns and talking about his love for Jesus. He was a true testimony to everyone.
